The final obstacle. The highest, the most solid, the most ambitious. Standing between Belluno Volley and their dream of promotion is Domotek Reggio Calabria, a true powerhouse in the Serie A3 Credem Banca league. The playoff final will kick off on Wednesday, May 6th (8:30 pm), at Pala Botteghelle, which, at least for one night, will become the home of a team built to win.

The Calabrian team arrives at the event with impressive credentials. Not only for their league campaign, but also for what they’ve already achieved this season: the Coppa Italia and the Serie A3 Supercoppa, both lifted after two final victories against Reggio Emilia. This double victory now fuels the lofty goal of completing the “triplete.”

Belluno and Reggio Calabria already know each other. Their only previous meeting this season dates back to March 7th, at the VHV Arena, in the Coppa Italia semifinals. The visitors prevailed 3-1 after an intense and spectacular match, highlighted by a second set that easily became one of the most closely contested of the year: 38-36 to the Rhinos.

But beyond the previous match, it’s the overall quality of the roster that defines Domotek’s profile. At the helm is a master conductor in Davide Saitta, a player with experience and vision, capable of controlling the pace and making the most of every offensive option. The main outlet is opposite hitter Laganà, a focal point in attack and capable of shouldering responsibility in key moments. On the spiker side, the pair of spikers guarantees solidity and continuity: Lazzaretto, already a key player in the Italian Cup match with 34 points, and former player Zappoli, a player who adds further depth to the lineup.
