Here we go.
Domotek Volley plays “Game 1” of the final to advance to Serie A2.
The Amaranto club strongly insisted that the match be played in Reggio Calabria.
The doors of the Palabenvenuti (Botteghelle) will open on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 8:30 PM.
Tickets sold out in a flash.
Immediately sold out.
Many Reggio Calabria fans will have to stay “outside” and watch the video produced by Lega Volley (free to view on the YouTube channel with commentary by Giovanni Mafrici) due to the unavailability of the Palacalafiore, a facility that, in Domotek’s recent matches, has attracted more than five thousand spectators.

The formula: this is Domotek’s second chance to fly to Serie A2.
The first one slipped away in Game 5 against their opponent, Conad Reggio Emilia, whom they defeated in the Coppa Italia Del Monte and the Supercoppa.
In this case, there are many differences.
First of all, the match is scheduled as a best-of-two out of three (rather than five) wins.
Reggio Calabria will also have home field advantage.

Game one is scheduled for this evening at 8:30 PM in the historic Reggio Calabria stadium where the city of Reggio Calabria reached the second division in the 1980s. Game two is already scheduled, to be played in Belluno on May 10th at 6:00 PM.
A possible game three is scheduled and is a “possible” match: the date in question is May 17, 2026, the return match at the Palacalafiore.

The two teams already faced each other in the semifinal, played in Belluno, at the home of the Venetians, regarding the Del Monte Coppa Italia on March 7th.
Belluno won the first set, before the Amaranths came back with a monstrous performance by Enrico Lazzaretto at 34 and the decisive point by Andrea Innocenzi.
Giannotti’s 23 points, the 18 from the strong Berger, Corrado’s 17, and Mozzato’s 12 weren’t enough for Belluno.

Two very strong teams.
Reggio won their group and has two trophies under their belt.
Belluno has a very physical and talented roster.
Reggio’s makeshift facility could become the setting for an epic match, one worth watching.
Massimo Ancona and Marco Colucci will referee.
