Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia continues its roster build for next season by retaining Manuele Lucconi, a 194 cm (5’4″) opposite hitter from the Marche region, born in 1999. He will once again wear the white-and-blue jersey in the Credem Banca Serie A2 championship.

Having arrived in Brescia after significant experience in Serie A2, SuperLega, and even an international stint in South Korea, Lucconi has been a valuable asset to the white-and-blue team this season thanks to his physical qualities, offensive power, and experience gained over the years in national championships.

Born in Fano and raised as a volleyball player with Virtus Fano, Lucconi began his career in Serie C and Serie B before making the jump to Serie A2 with Emma Villas Siena in the 2019/2020 season. He subsequently enjoyed seasons as a key player in Serie A3 and Serie A2 with Fano and Aci Castello, distinguishing himself as one of the most prolific opposite hitters in the category.

His career also included a SuperLega experience with Prisma Taranto in the 2022/2023 season, in addition to a triumphant season with Vibo Valentia, culminating in the league title, Coppa Italia, and Serie A2 Super Cup. After a move to Prata di Pordenone and a stint in South Korea with Ansan OK Savings Bank OKman, Lucconi continued his career, first in Catania and then in Brescia.

His confirmation represents an important sign of continuity for the white-and-blue coaching project: an experienced, physically fit athlete accustomed to ambitious challenges who will continue to put his skills to work for the team led by coach Roberto Zambonardi.

For the Tucani, he’s another reliable player from which to build, continuing to focus on a player capable of providing offensive power, energy, and a competitive mentality in a challenging league like the Serie A2 Credem Banca.
His words upon confirmation: “I’m truly happy to continue this journey in Brescia. Here I’ve found an environment where we work well, with serenity, humanity, and great balance—a quality that makes all the difference for an athlete. I’ve had the opportunity to express myself to the fullest, without unnecessary pressure or tension that risks sapping clarity and calm during the season.
I believe this year will also bring excellent prospects. We’ll be a young, ambitious group with a strong desire to grow, but we know we’ll have a lot of work to do every day.
