Youth and a desire to get involved. This is the sixth new addition to Volley Savigliano, ahead of the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A3 championship.
The white-and-blue club is pleased to announce the arrival of Giovanni Bellanti at the PalaSanGiorgio.
Born in 2006, Giovanni is a spiker who developed his volleyball career in the distinguished youth sector of Cuneo Volley, where he excelled to the point of being called up to the Club Piemonte Maschile, with whom he also participated in a training camp at the Acquacetosa Olympic Training Center in Rome. In 2025/26, he enjoyed his first season among the “big boys,” wearing the jersey of VBC Mondovì in Serie B.
The call from Savigliano was, as he himself explains, “unexpected. When it came, it was a nice surprise. It’s a great opportunity for me, and I can’t wait to begin this new adventure. Last season? It was my first experience in Serie B, and it helped me grow so much, both as a player and as a person. At first, I had to adapt to a completely new level, but over time, I’ve managed to earn more and more space on the pitch. I carry with me this very awareness: with commitment, patience, and the desire to improve, you can achieve important goals. Furthermore, being part of such a young team will be an added incentive to continue growing and giving my all.”
