The name of the new opposite hitter is certainly no stranger to Acqui Terme: both due to his recent experience as an opponent and his older brother Manuel’s experience in Acqui Terme in the 2024-25 season.

Morgan Biasotto is the new 2nd place player for Negrini CTE Acqui Terme for 2026-27.

He’s originally from Genoa, but, despite his young age, he’s been away from home since the 2018-19 season, when he joined the prestigious youth team of Vero Volley Monza.

He made his Serie B debut the following season and spent another three seasons in Brianza, then A2 with Aversa and Lagonegro, until his final two years at CUS Cagliari: “After two years as an opponent, I’m now coming to this side of the net. I’m absolutely ready for this new adventure; I’m also starting beach volleyball right now to stay in shape, and I’m pumping myself up for when I arrive in Acqui Terme. In Sardinia, we played some great matches against La Bollente. Looking at the stats, our head-to-head matches are 50/50; they were all very close and intense matches. At home, in Cagliari, we had two really good matches. There was a great atmosphere even back then.”
