Plus Volleyball Sabaudia continues to build its roster ahead of the upcoming Serie A3 championship and adds a new addition to the middle blockers department. The Pontine-based club has reached an agreement with Armando Carotti, born in 2003, who recently played three seasons with Volley Libertas Osimo in Serie B.

Standing 205 centimeters tall, originally from Ancona and residing in Osimo, Carotti is a young player with significant room for growth, perfectly aligned with the technical project entrusted to coach Francesco Totire.

The club aims to create a group that combines enthusiasm, perspective, and experience to lead the championship. “The opportunity arose thanks to the club contacting me. Then they explained the project’s goals to me, and they aligned with what I had in mind for my career,” Carotti explains. “The first thing that convinced me was the presence of the coach, who has always worked very well with young players, even at high levels.”

The team’s construction was also one of the factors that influenced his choice. “The idea of creating a group made up of young and experienced players, in my opinion, is the ideal combination for playing a good championship,” adds the center-back. “We have the ambition to stay in the mid-to-high positions in the standings, and this is something that has motivated me greatly.”
