Following the 3-2 defeat at PalaSavelli, Cisterna Volley (after a Monday off) returned to work this morning (a gym session) to prepare for their next Regular Season match: Sunday, January 11th in Milan. The work schedule includes training with the ball this afternoon, another double session on Wednesday, Thursday afternoon work, a double session on Friday, a final practice on Saturday morning, and then the departure for Milan.
Sporting director Candido Grande spoke about the delicate moment (the team hasn’t won in eight games). “Criticism must be accepted, we too are critical at this time, but it must always be constructive because you emerge from a difficult situation by staying united: the club, staff, team, and fans work together to achieve the goal. At the beginning of the season, we knew what our goal would be: staying up, and we reiterated it several times. Many players left this summer, joining major clubs with huge ambitions; we’ve made significant changes, starting a new era: three years ago, the club invested in this project, and the first setbacks won’t stop us or make us change our minds.”
