The SuperLega championship has been suspended to make way for the Coppa Italia Final Four (scheduled for Saturday and Sunday). The final rush will be back on the courts over the weekend of February 14-15. With three games remaining in the Regular Season, Cisterna Volley, having put the loss to Piacenza behind them, returned to work today with a double training session.
Nicola Salsi: “Until the math proves us right, you’ll never hear us talk about staying up. Certainly, after our latest results, coming with three games left in the Regular Season, we’re more relaxed. But we know that the next match will be the most important, especially because we want to climb the rankings by overtaking those ahead of us. Furthermore, Cuneo is a bad memory; in the first leg, we played one of the worst games of the season, and the spirit of revenge is an important component in sport.”
