The words of the new President of the Serie A Volleyball League, Claudio Durigon: “When I was asked to take on this role, my first reaction was almost one of disbelief. I thought: Are you kidding? I really wasn’t expecting it. Then, however, I started to think and realized that perhaps there is a common thread. Because even in my political experience, I have always sought to build relationships, bring people together, find solutions, and lend a hand. And over the years, I have had the pleasure of discussing issues relating to the growth of Italian volleyball with so many of you. It is with great pride, therefore, that I accept this role and, first and foremost, I would like to thank all of you for the trust you have placed in me. It is an honor for me to become part of an organization that represents one of the greatest excellences of Italian sport in the world. I will try to repay this trust by offering my institutional experience, the relationships I have built over the years, and, above all, my daily commitment. In recent months, I have had the opportunity to meet President Massimo Righi. For me, he will always be President.
