Volley Savigliano is pleased to announce the second new addition to the first team ahead of the 2026/27 Credem Banca Serie A3 championship.

After announcing Andrea Marassi’s promotion from the youth academy to libero, the move to position 4 will see Edoardo Cunial wear the white-and-blue jersey.

Born in 2004, despite his young age, Edoardo is already, in some ways, a veteran, having made exactly 100 appearances in Serie A2, with Motta di Livenza in 2022/23, and Serie A3, with Personal Time San Donà di Piave, where he originally played for the last three years. Born in Oderzo, Edoardo also follows in the footsteps of his father, Moreno, who played in the same position between the 1980s and 1990s, finishing his career in the Granda province with the then Alpitour Diesel Cuneo in 1993/94.

Cunial is already fired up for his new adventure in Piedmont: “From this new season, I expect to be able to give my full contribution to the team and the club. I can’t wait to meet new people and build strong friendships with my teammates. I think that together we can achieve great things, both in training and in the league. There are several players my age who already have a lot of experience, and this convinces me that we can grow a lot throughout the year and improve, step by step, more and more.”
