The DelMonte® Boy League is back in the spotlight, and Cuneo is preparing to return to prominence after last season’s excellent performance. Last year, the Cuneo team finished an excellent sixth place, confirming its position as one of the most competitive teams in the tournament open to SuperLega, Serie A2, and Serie A3 clubs.
Eighteen teams will participate in the preliminary round of the event, open to Under-14 athletes from the Serie A Consortium. Each team will play its matches over three daily sessions, for a total of nine matches per group.
Cuneo will host the first matchday of Group A, which will feature MA Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo, Campi Reali Cantù, and Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza. The group matches will be held on Sunday, February 15th at the “Palestra Ex Media 4” in Cuneo, with Cuneo opening the day’s matches against Cantù at 11:00 a.m. The day’s matches will conclude with the white-and-blues playing Piacenza at 5:00 p.m. The Cantù-Piacenza match will take place at 3:00 p.m. The preliminary round will continue on Sunday, February 22nd in Piacenza and conclude on Sunday, March 1st in Cantù.
