Virtus Volley Napoli confirms Dr. Sergio Di Meo as club president and majority shareholder of the new project born from the collaboration between Virtus Aversa and Team Volley Napoli.
This move reflects continuity, expertise, and, above all, the passion for volleyball that has been a hallmark of the Di Meo family for years. In addition to maintaining control of the club through his majority stake, President Di Meo will continue to be the main point of contact for the technical and sporting aspects, contributing to the development of the club’s strategies for the upcoming Serie A2 men’s volleyball championship. Di Meo will also have at his side the pillars of his Aversa experience: his son Sergio Maria Di Meo, coach Ignazio Nappa, and journalist Ernesto di Girolamo.
