Young and increasingly decisive. Vero Volley Monza announces the confirmation of Diego Frascio for the 2026/2027 season. The opposite hitter, born in 2006, will continue to wear the Brianza club’s jersey after a season that saw him establish himself as one of the team’s most surprising and decisive players.

He turns twenty next July and has been ready for the most crucial moments of the season. Having developed in the Brianza youth academy, he already demonstrated his great potential two years ago in the SuperLega. In the last championship, he earned further exposure, trust, and responsibility thanks to his impressive performances, confirming his position as one of the most exciting young players in the Italian volleyball scene. His permanence is a clear sign of Vero Volley’s commitment to investing in emerging talent, building its future around a young and ambitious roster.

“Continuing to play at Monza is incredibly important; this has become like a second home to me. I’ve bonded so well with everyone here and feel like part of the family,” Frascio said. “Last season, I managed to get more playing time than expected, and for that, I just have to thank everyone for their constant support. It’s still a bit premature to talk about next season, but I’ll give 100% in every game to help the club reach the top. What do I expect? Lots of games played at a very high intensity, and, with a very young team, maybe even a few surprises.”
