Domotek Volley continues to soar. After yet another performance of character and unity, middle blocker Francesco Ciaramita steps up to the microphones with a mix of controlled euphoria and determination. The message is clear: no triumphalism, head down, and work.
Ciaramita’s enthusiasm is contagious. “I really couldn’t wait, especially to step onto this stage in the Serie A3 and finally be able to play with my teammates. And this arena has welcomed me quite well; I’m very happy,” he begins with a smile. When it’s pointed out to him that he’s a guy who makes everyone love him, he humbly deflects the compliment, turning it into praise for the team: “We’re all very united, both on and off the court.” And this, perhaps, is Domotek’s true secret weapon.
“Right attitude, straight to the point.” Words that sound like a mantra for a team that doesn’t want to get distracted.
Now the obstacle is Belluno in the championship final. Ciaramita doesn’t mince his words: “Belluno is a tough team, we’ve already faced them and we know they have their strengths.” And what are they? “Berger is a real powerhouse, and the opposite hitter is also very strong. We’ll try to study them as best we can to be able to play the best volleyball we can.”
If he had to tell his children in 30 years what this 2025-2026 season was like, Ciaramita already has a ready answer: “I could tell them that we lived—and are continuing to live—a beautiful dream. But it’s also the fruit of the work we’re doing day after day.”
And then his thoughts turn to the veterans, silent protagonists of the evening yesterday. The standing ovation went to Domenico Laganà and Davide Saitta (MVP of the Coppa and Supercoppa), but Ciaramita widens the circle: “We all made our contribution. The more experienced guys like our Captain, Davide Saitta, and Enrico Zappoli, give us a huge hand, encouraging us to give our best and, above all, to have fun, because that’s what matters.”
In the last outing, the match MVP went to fellow forward Luca Presta. Ciaramita doesn’t hide: “We’re very happy. Simone Rigirozzo and I give a lot, but we hang on every word of Luca and Andrea Innocenzi. They give us a lot of advice, and we try to take as much as we can and then contribute.” A final thought for Innocenzi: “We hope to have him back as soon as possible.”
With this mentality, Domotek is daydreaming. But with its feet firmly planted on the ground.
