Allianz Powervolley Milano player Francesco Recine suffered an injury last Wednesday during the Challenge semifinal match. Clinical and instrumental tests confirmed a ruptured left Achilles tendon.
Francesco underwent tendon repair yesterday. The operation was performed by Dr. Massimiliano Piatti at the Orthopedic and Traumatology Clinic of the San Pietro Polyclinic in Ponte San Pietro (Bergamo). The surgery was a complete success, and the player will begin his rehabilitation program in the coming weeks.
