A major confirmation for Cuneo Volley and the Cuneo project; Cuneo spiker Federico Giraudo, after being promoted to the first team last year from the white-and-blue youth sector and making his debut in the SuperLega, has consciously decided to continue his development and training with Cuneo, despite receiving various offers.
The announcement was made official this evening during the renewal press conference held in collaboration with GT Sicurezza at the Confapi Cuneo headquarters.
Sports Director Paolo Brugiafreddo commented on Federico’s confirmation: “Federico demonstrated, during the last season, that he is absolutely top-notch for our team. We carefully evaluated with him the best path for his development and agreed that his confirmation was the most appropriate choice. He will be a great help to us, as well as being a source of pride for Cuneo.”
With equal determination, Giraudo commented on his renewal: “The SuperLega is a league where you compete at the highest level of volleyball, and as a result, it’s a place where you can improve enormously day after day, both as a player and as a person. I think that right now, for me, it’s the right choice to stay in a league that’s as stimulating and growth-oriented as the SuperLega. As the team develops, I believe we can achieve some success next season and have a lot of fun at the same time. My main goal is definitely to improve on some technical aspects and, above all, to improve physically and mentally so that I’m ready if needed.”
