This is the Block Devils’ final training session on the Taraflex in Perugia, before they depart tomorrow morning for Turin, where a spectacular weekend of volleyball promises to be awaiting them!
The wait is almost over: next Saturday and Sunday, May 16th and 17th, the Champions League Final Four will take place in the incredible setting of the Inalpi Arena!
It will be a dream setting, thrilling not only the fans but also the players themselves. Oleh Plotnytskyi told reporters during the press conference introducing the major European event: “I was in that arena once when they were playing the World Cup… it’s beautiful! I really can’t wait to get out there on the court on Friday for training, and then, of course, for the semifinal! Being the only Italian team and playing in the Champions League Final Four in Italy is certainly a source of pride, and perhaps there will also be a little more pressure! We’ll try to give it our all and leave it all on the court.”
