The Veneto-born player, who was forced to interrupt his first season almost halfway through due to a serious injury, has made 61 appearances and scored 993 points in total at San Giustino, including 443 in the recently concluded championship, which are his personal best with ErmGroup. Over these three years, Marzolla has also scored 41 aces and 61 blocks. “I’m very pleased to have stayed,” said Marzolla, “after essentially three and a half years of active service. I’m very happy at San Giustino and I like the club’s project.” Each year, the team has achieved even greater heights, and he has undoubtedly played a key role. “The first two seasons were difficult for me,” Marzolla recalls, “due to the now notorious injury that I finally managed to put behind me. Last season was the season of my full recovery: we missed the crucial step of reaching the playoff final, which fell through in the golden set in the Belluno match.
