The extension of the player’s contract with Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza was signed in recent days, to the satisfaction of both parties. In the recently concluded season, Paolo Porro made 42 appearances in the Regular Season, Italian Cup, Scudetto Playoffs, and CEV Cup, playing 161 sets and scoring 111 points, including 54 aces and 36 blocks.
Paolo Porro was born in Genoa on October 27, 2001. His volleyball career began in the youth teams of Colombo Genova. In the 2017-2018 season, he was signed by Treviso in Serie D, and the following season he played in Serie B. In 2020, he made his Superleague debut with Modena, completing the setter department alongside Micah Christenson.
After four seasons in Milan, Paolo Porro arrived in Piacenza last summer. He represents not only talent and technical quality, but also passion, dedication, and a sense of belonging. In his first season at Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, he was able to grow, take on responsibilities, and become one of the team’s key players, earning the trust of the club and its fans day after day.

Starting tomorrow, he will be in Cavalese with the national team to prepare for the new Azzurri matches of the season.
