Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, following their impressive victory over Grottazzolina and fourth place in the SuperLega standings, returns to Europe: on Wednesday, January 21st, they will be playing in Soria, Spain, where they will face Rio Duero Soria in the first leg of the CEV Volleyball Cup Round of 16, starting at 7:30 PM.
After defeating Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice in the Round of 32, the red and whites now face the Spanish team, who have reached the Round of 16 without having played a CEV Volleyball Cup match thanks to a favorable draw and the withdrawal of one team.
On Wednesday, the match will be played at the Complejo Deportivo De Los Pajaritos in Soria, a venue capable of holding 2,000 spectators. Soria is a city over 200 kilometers from Madrid and Bilbao.
