This upcoming season will be his sixth—the third consecutive in Serie A3, after as many in Serie B—wearing the red and blue EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso.

Gianmarco Rescignano, the Sannio spiker playing for the red and blue team, is one of the stalwarts of President Marco Pulitano’s club.

“I definitely feel part of this family,” he admits, “and I’m happy to have seen the coach and the club renew their faith in me. This is something I’m very pleased about because it means that the daily work in training and in matches has once again borne fruit.”

Further boosting the Campanian full-back’s enthusiasm is the composition of a group that, thanks to the first announced additions (particularly playmaker Garnica and forward Suraci), can aim to play a leading role in the Blue Group of the Credem Banca Serie A3.

“It would have been really hard not to continue,” he admits, “and with the club aiming high, it would have been a crime to miss out in such a context. Our squad is attracting the attention of many, and I can only be happy about that.”

A solid group in a highly competitive environment with several other competitors ready to shine.

“Every season,” Rescignano adds, “the level gets higher and higher, because all the clubs are trying to find the best players on the market, equipping themselves vigorously. We’ll have to fight and push, but I’m sure we have all the qualities to shine.”
