The day opened with the Media Day, hosted by Giacomo Brunetti (Editor-in-Chief of Cronache di Spogliatoio), followed by the National Sector Meeting of Match Officials, Managers, and Coaches. The final morning session featured Mariano Angelico, Digital & Fan Engagement Coordinator for Udinese Calcio, with “The Fan at the Center: Digital Strategies and Engagement Activities to Create Value in Sport.”

In the early afternoon, Attorney Stephen Bock (Director of Legal Affairs & General Counsel of the FIVB) and Attorney Mattia Grassani (sports law expert) took the stage for the meeting “Sports Arbitration, Athlete Termination, and Multi-Year Contracts in the Amateur Sector: Protection Tools for Clubs.”
The SuperLega consultation and the Board of Directors effectively concluded the second day of work at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, just outside Bologna.
The three-day Volley Mercato 2026 will conclude tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, July 16, with the “2026/27 Season and Calendar Presentation.”
