The Second Round of the Credem Banca Serie A3 is upon us. To ensure the efforts and placements achieved throughout the long Regular Season are not wasted, the 12 teams qualified for the Round of 16 Playoffs, which will consist of home-and-away matches (and a possible Golden Set), are called upon to give their all and take care of every detail from the first round on Saturday, March 21st and Sunday, March 22nd.
The match begins on Saturday, March 21st, at 6:00 PM in Molise, between EnergyTime Campobasso and Belluno Volley. The hosts have qualified with the last available spot, while the Venetians will play the return match at home. The other ten teams competing in the first round will take to the courts on Sunday. Kick-off is at 6:00 PM on four pitches: Gabbiano FarmaMed Mantova hosts Avimecc Modica, Negrini CTE Acqui Terme faces JV Gioia Del Colle, and Viridex Sabaudia hosts ErmGroup Altotevere San Giustino, reviving a rivalry that began in the 2023/24 Regular Season, a tournament in which home-field advantage was lost in both the first and second legs. Additionally, CUS Cagliari hosts BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte, the de facto top seed in the Round of 16 thanks to their third-place finish in the joint White and Blue Group standings at the end of the regular season. The schedule concludes at 7:00 PM with Aurispa DFV Lecce vs. Sarlux Sarroch.
