The second official signing for EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso ahead of the 2025/26 Serie A3 Credem Banca tournament is that of Antonino Suraci, a thirty-year-old, 200-centimeter-tall forward who has just completed nine consecutive seasons in Serie A2 and is now ready to showcase the qualities that, last season in Pineto, made him a true all-rounder for the Riviera team, leading the regular season, reaching the promotion playoff final, and, most importantly, winning the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa in his category. Not bad for a player who, after three tournaments in Cantù, spent four years in Reggio Emilia, where, among other things, he got to know the new setter from Campobasso, Garnica, well.
“I played with him,” he explains, “and, with him, we won both the Italian Cup and the playoffs. We’re good friends, and it will be a pleasure to have Fefè back on my team. Last season, he demonstrated that his vast experience allows him to still make a difference in A2, and I truly believe he can become an absolute benchmark in A3.”
