The wait is over! Tomorrow evening at 8:30 PM, the spotlight will be on the Scudetto Final of this Superleague Championship!

Perugia hosts the first act of the best-of-five series that will decide the Italian title, with two of this season’s key players battling it out for the title: Sir Susa Scai Perugia and Cucine Lube Civitanova. They’ll be back on the court, facing each other, to thrill the crowd and put on a great volleyball show!
For the Bianconeri, the pre-match work began with a prevention session in the gym and continued in the afternoon with technical and tactical training on the Taraflex. Tomorrow, match day, there will be a video session and on-court work in the morning.

It’s a high-stakes clash between two teams that are meeting for the 76th time in competitive matches in the Italian league, including regular season, playoffs, and matches in the Super Cup and Coppa Italia. They also met in Europe, where the two clubs met in the unforgettable Champions League semifinal at the Palalottomatica in Rome, exactly nine years to the day, on April 29, 2017, and subsequently in the group stages of the 2017-2018 and 2020-2021 seasons.
Tomorrow’s matchup will be the fourth time this season between the Umbrian and Marche sides, following two regular-season matches and a one-off Coppa Italia quarterfinal, played on December 30 at the PalaBarton.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS
There have been 75 competitive meetings between these two teams, of which 39 have been won by Sir Susa Scai Perugia and 36 by Cucine Lube Civitanova. The last head-to-head matchup dates back to the sixth matchday of the second half of the regular season, played away to the Marche team at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova on January 18th, a match won by the Block Devils 3-1.

FORMER OF THE MATCH
The only former player on the pitch this season between the two teams is center-back Marko Podrascanin, who played for Perugia for four consecutive seasons, from 2016 to 2020.

There is, however, one former player on the Juventus management staff: former center-back Davide Candellaro, now team manager of Sir Susa Scai Perugia, played his last two consecutive professional seasons for SIR, from 2023 to 2025, and played for Lube for two years, from 2016 to 2018.
