Trento facing Monza

On Sunday, April 19th, the Itas Trentino men’s team begins its race for the 5th-place playoffs in the 2026 SuperLega Credem Banca. After just over a month without competitive matches, the yellow-blue team will make its debut in the semifinal series against Vero Volley Monza, a best-of-three match that guarantees qualification for the final. Itas Trentino will therefore only be without Alessandro Michieletto, who continues to do individual training; His place will once again be taken by young Davide Boschini, a high-ball spiker for UniTrento Volley in Serie B, born in 2007. It will be the 1,134th official match in Trentino Volley’s history in the men’s sector, the 38th of the season, in which the yellow-blues will be chasing their 792nd overall win, their 24th of the 2025/26 season.
HUNT FOR A SPOT IN EUROPE The playoffs for 5th place offer qualification to the 2027 CEV Challenge Cup, which will be awarded to the winner of the final series. The bracket is divided into three rounds (quarterfinals, semifinals, and final), with series always played as best-of-three matches.
