The Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3 comes to Reggio Emilia: the PalaBigi hosts the match between Reggio Emilia and Reggio Calabria

Reggio Emilia is preparing to host a major national volleyball event: the Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3 will be played right in the heart of our city, offering the Reggio Emilia crowd a top-level event.

The PalaBigi will host the match between Reggio Emilia and Reggio Calabria, scheduled for Sunday, April 19th at 5:00 PM, in a match that will award one of the most important trophies of the Serie A3 season.

The event, organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A in collaboration with Volley Tricolore, is a source of great pride for the entire region. Reflecting the importance of the event, the match will be held under the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, and the Reggio Emilia Sports Foundation.

This event is more than just a sporting event; it involves the entire city, ready to experience a day of great volleyball, passion, and enthusiasm. The Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3 will be an event capable of attracting fans, enthusiasts, and professionals, once again highlighting Reggio Emilia as a hub for national volleyball.

It will be an intense, spectacular, and meaningful match, which will award a prestigious trophy and further enhance the season. The PalaBigi crowd will be called upon to respond, cheering on the Granata colors in a setting that promises to be warm and engaging.

Spiker Riccardo Mazzon also emphasized the importance of the event: “After the promotion and the tremendous emotions we experienced on Wednesday night, we couldn’t have imagined a better way to close out the season: another match, another final, once again in front of our home crowd. There’s no need for great motivation: it’s always a final, there’s always a trophy at stake, and it could truly be the icing on the cake of a season we’ve faced as a great team, as a great group. Playing at the PalaBigi is an added bonus: our fans have already given us an incredible boost, and we’re confident they’ll do the same on Sunday. It will be crucial, because our physical energy may drop, but the warmth of the arena will rekindle us and give us a huge boost.”

Reggio Emilia is ready: great volleyball is back in the spotlight.
