Thomas Beretta and Vero Volley Monza are still together. The middle blocker from Brianza will captain the Monza team in the 2026/2027 season, his twelfth consecutive season with the same jersey, confirming himself as one of the club’s most iconic players.
Born in 1990, Beretta is coming off a season as an absolute protagonist at the net: with 44 winning blocks in 77 sets played, he was the best blocker in the last SuperLega, demonstrating leadership, experience, and consistency at the highest level.
“It almost seems obvious to say, but every confirmation from the club is a great honor for me,” Beretta said. “I’ve given so much to this team, and I continue to receive so much from this same club: feeling the club’s trust every year is something that is truly special.”
