Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza won in four sets in the first leg of the CEV Cup playoffs away to Poland’s Jastrzębski Wegiel. After losing the first set, Porro and his teammates regained their rhythm and composure, winning the second set and, after a hard-fought battle in the third, closing out the fourth with authority. To secure their place in the quarterfinals, the Emilian team will only need to win two sets in the return match, scheduled for Wednesday, February 18th at 8:30 pm at the PalaBancaSport.
