Yesterday, Yuki was received at the City Hall by Mayor Alberto Teso and Councilor Simone Cereser, along with coach Federico Rigamonti, assistant coach Anna Favini, Vittorino Padovan, and Kyoko, a Japanese citizen living in San Donà who has supported the club throughout its journey.
The meeting was an opportunity to officially bid farewell to an experience that has brought together sport, culture, and relationships. Tomorrow, he will return to Tokyo, bringing with him intense weeks spent within our club, including training sessions, his birthday a few days ago, and moments shared with the team and the local community.
During the meeting, the City Hall honored Yuki with a keychain from the city of San Donà di Piave, a tangible symbol of the bond created.
The meeting was also a moment to share the sporting achievements of the first team, with their continued promotion to the league, the fruit of the team’s hard work and determination.
Thus ends a significant experience, which leaves behind something more than what was seen on the court: a human and sporting bond that will endure over time.
