The club announces that the new coach of Aurispa Libellula Lecce is Omar Pelillo, born on 24 July 1974 in Argentina, coming from the Superlega. The Albiceleste technician is, in fact, returning from the experience in the top division with Emma Villas Siena, where he held the role of head coach from December last year until the end of the season. Coach Pelillo made his debut as second coach in the 2013/14 season in Elettrosud Brolo and then moved to Siena where, since 2016, he alternated the role of scoutman to that of second coach to then cover the role of first coach in the last season .
The coach is already working with sporting director Antonio Scarascia, to immediately lay the foundations for the new season.
