Beautiful meeting in the auditorium of the Scotte educational center. Great participation by the students in the initiative “Union of passions: dialogue between athletes and students”. The dialogue was very interesting and went beyond the purely sporting aspects. The meeting was attended by the marketing and commercial director of Emma Villas Siena Vittorio Angelaccio, the white-blue opposite hitter Gabriele Nelli, the libero and student of Biotechnology at the University of Siena Martin Coser, and the spiker and student of Management Engineering at the University of Siena Federico Pellegrini.
The debate was moderated by Professor Simone Grandini, full professor, vice director of the Department of Medical Biotechnology and President of the Dentistry Degree Course, and was carried out with the collaboration of Professor Paola Piomboni, delegate of the rector for teaching, full professor of the Department of Molecular and Developmental Medicine, and Professor Flavio D’Ascenzi who also holds the position of technical scientific consultant for the medical and health staff of Emma Villas Siena.
The initiative was sponsored by Sidoc and USiena, and strengthens the collaboration between Emma Villas Siena and the University of Siena. During the meeting, many topics were touched upon, including study, culture, values, sports practice, ties with the city, leadership, communication, and obviously the sporting experiences of the white-blue players.
