How can you add power, quality, and points—lots of points—to your attack? Simple, by choosing a striker of the caliber of Andrea Baldi. Born in 2000, originally from Brescia, he’s the new opposite hitter for Belluno Volley. He’s had a career that has seen him compete in all the major national volleyball categories.
RESUME – Having grown up playing volleyball in Bergamo, Baldi played two A2 championships before debuting in the Superleague with Catania in 2023. He then moved to Sorrento, where he contributed to the Campania club’s perfect season: promotion to A2, the Italian Cup, and the A3 Super Cup. Last year, he helped the green-and-whites secure relegation on the court. And, in two championships, he managed to score 958 points in 61 games. In short, he’s a true driving force, capable of finding different solutions in every game situation and equipped with a wide and varied repertoire of shots.
FAMILY TRADITION – Volleyball, for Andrea, is also a family affair, given that his father Giorgio, now a coach, was a longtime middle blocker in Serie A1, while his sister Gloria played in the top division with Pesaro and Cuneo. This sporting tradition has helped shape an athlete accustomed to volleyball from birth.
STABILITY – “I’m joining a solid club with great potential,” explains the new white-and-blue opposite hitter. “It’s no coincidence that they achieve top positions every season: I myself had the opportunity to witness this firsthand during the Coppa Italia Final Four and in last year’s playoffs. Organization, stability, and hunger are the hallmarks of this club.”
