Looking ahead is the only option, even when the regret for the last battle of the championship is still there to focus the thoughts. For Consoli Sferc Centrale del Latte it is a golden year, marked by the promotion Final and by a succession of performances that have always kept it at the top of the A2 standings. It did not go as hoped, promotion to the Superleague did not arrive, but the season still offers an opportunity to shine, the Italian Cup of which the Brescians are holders.

There are eight contenders in the race: Brescia faces Aci Castello, Cuneo hosts Fano, Prata awaits Siena, while Macerata visits Aversa. All play simultaneously on May 1st, with the Semifinals scheduled for Sunday 4 between the winners of the first, and two pairs of challenges of the second. The Final will instead be on Saturday 10th May, with the favor of the home match granted to the team better placed in the Regular Season.

Going in order, then, on Thursday 1 May Consoli hosts Cosedil again, as in the first leg of the Play-off quarter-finals, but this time the match is one-off. Whoever wins continues the race, whoever loses ends the season.

The opponents are led by Paolo Montagnani, who in the matches of the Round of 16 against Cantù proposed a formation entrusted to the direction of the young Bernardis opposite Argenta, with Bartolini and Volpe in the center, Rottman and Basic on the diagonal of the wing, Orto and Lombardo alternating in defense and reception.
