Therefore, Banca Macerata Fisiomed is pleased to announce the renewal of Ionut Ambrose, who will be one of the team’s central defenders for the 2026/2027 Credem Banca Serie A2 season.
This confirmation speaks volumes about the player’s determination and the club’s faith in him. The club has respected his recovery schedule, giving him the space he needs to return to his best, without ever losing sight of the desire to see him back in the net with his blocking and attacking skills.
A native of the Marche region, born in 2004, Ambrose will partner Diaferia in a central defender unit that is taking shape week by week. Despite his recent inactivity, the young center’s career path already demonstrates his worth: from his early days in the Civitanova youth academy, through his experience in Serie A3 at Cagliari and Serie A2 at Aversa, to his return to Macerata.
Ionut looks to the future with enthusiasm and is already working hard to regain top physical condition during the offseason: “I finally feel good. I’m working hard here in the gym to get back into shape and be ready for August. I miss the pitch so much: not being able to play and help my teammates for the entire second half of the season was a difficult feeling to accept. Now, however, I can’t wait to redeem myself and get back to being a key player next season.”
