After the compliments of the patron Fabio Giulianelli, it is the turn of the reflections of Beppe Cormio, general manager of Lube Volley and creator of the young and spirited team that made half of Italy fall in love with volleyball.

Beppe Cormio (dg Lube Volley): “Everything went far beyond our wildest hopes. Those who win a bronze in the last match are the ones who rejoice more at the end of the championship than those who lose the final for the gold, just like in the Olympics, but what our team has done is extraordinary and we are happy. We have lived a dream fueled by an engaging journey, with third place in the Regular Season and comebacks in the Play Offs based on away victories against Milan and Perugia. We must not forget the conquest of the Italian Cup and the Challenge Cup Final, but also the qualification for the next Champions League, important for a question of prestige and for the Club’s coffers. I can only agree with Fabio Giulianelli’s words, because when you put together a team there is a plan and if the team burns the stages it is truly exciting. For the athletes it is hard to give up the siren song. Ours, however, remains the most exciting and most beautiful tournament in the world, just as in our country life is better. We will lose some players, but we already have an agreement with valuable additions. We will keep the backbone of the team and try to protect our young talents!”.
