He won everyone over thanks to his calmness, his application in the gym and his technical ability to do many useful things for the team. Marcin Ernastowicz was a balanced player, but he also knew how to use the club when needed. These are the main reasons that led the yellow-blue management to focus once again on the 28-year-old Polish player for one of the two starting spots in position 4. On the other hand, Ernastowicz was consistently among the Top 20 in the scoring rankings, finishing the season with 382 points scored. He also did well at blocking with 44 point balls captured and a very high efficiency in all the fundamentals characterizing his role that made him considered, statistically speaking, as the ninth best spiker in the championship.

“I am very happy to stay in Prata – the Gostyn spiker comments on the renewal – last year we achieved results much higher than what were expected at the beginning of the season. We lost in the semifinals with Cuneo after three very tough matches and the Italian Cup slipped away by a whisker, but we showed that we can play volleyball at the highest level. I am very proud of this team and truly happy to stay here for another season”
