The third summer transfer deal for Cucine Lube Civitanova secures the middle blockers department and completes the 2025/26 roster with a young but very experienced athlete who knows the Super League perfectly.
A.S. Volley Lube announces the two-season signing of Belgian international Wout D’heer, a 24-year-old giant standing 203 cm tall.
The new member of the Club Cuciniero took his first steps in the world of volleyball in his homeland, with the youth teams of JTV Berlare-Zele for three years and, subsequently, of Topsportschool Vilvoorde for four seasons. The experience at Caruur Volley Gent (2019/20) and Lindemans Aalst (2020/21) marked a turning point.
Greetings from Wout D’heer (Cucine Lube Civitanova): “I am very happy to be a new Lube player. Being part of a team that always fights until the end, like last year, and plays with the desire to put trophies in the cabinet is wonderful. It will always be an honor for me to wear the red and white jersey and be part of the Cuciniero collective. I was a bit surprised when I heard about the interest in me because I thought Chinenyeze would stay until the end of his contract. When I understood that the proposal was concrete I had no doubts about what to do. I immediately seized this important opportunity for me with the intention of giving my all. I can’t wait to play in Civitanova after a busy summer and to meet the fans!”.
