Matteo Pastore, born in 1972 in Bari, will be the new scout for Joy Volley Gioia del Colle for the 2025/26 season.

A respected professional and a man of numbers par excellence, Pastore brings twenty-five years of experience gained in the major stages of Italian volleyball. His journey as a scout began in 2000 in Bari and then extended throughout Puglia, with significant stops at Gioia del Colle—where he also served as assistant coach—and subsequently at Castellana Grotte, a club with which he spent 13 consecutive seasons, starting in Serie A1 and winning a historic Serie A2 Italian Cup.

For the past two years, Pastore has served as a scout in the Superlega with Gioiella Prisma Taranto, cementing his reputation in the top national league.

A proven professional, ready to work in synergy with coaches Sandro Passaro and Francesco Racaniello. His comments: “I am deeply honored to return to such an important and competent volleyball community as Gioia del Colle. I thank the club for their trust and I am confident that, together with the rest of the staff and the high-caliber team we have assembled, we will achieve the important goals the city deserves.”
