From a libero still at the beginning of his career, Leonardo Chiella, to a libero with over 250 appearances in the three main categories of Italian volleyball. Filippo Pochini, at nearly 36 years of age (he’ll turn 36 in November), is in his second season with ErmGroup Altotevere, and now plays in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship. He remains the oldest member of the group. Last season, he alternated duties with Gian Marco Cioffi, the latter serving and then defending, while the Perugian was one of the cleanest players overall (a positive rate of around 70%), minimizing errors and maintaining a high perfection rate, managing to neutralize even the most powerful and effective hitters in the group with his technically well-structured backhand.
