A first day filled with strong emotions and promises to keep. As is tradition, Massimiliano Ortenzi doesn’t hide his excitement at being back on the field and with his players. The 2025-26 season has officially begun for Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, in its second year in the Superleague, with the preseason training camp held in front of over 150 enthusiastic fans.
“For me, the first day is always something special,” says Ortenzi. “It’s a mix of pride, responsibility, and enthusiasm. The pride of still being among the big boys and playing a leading role, as we were last year. The responsibility of representing a community that strongly supports us. And above all, the enthusiasm that will guide us throughout the season, even in the most difficult moments.”
Such a large crowd had never been seen before at the Grottazzolina team training camp: a concrete demonstration of how the Yuasa Battery project is resonating with the community.
