Luca Presta, a middle blocker from Belvedere Marittimo, recently arrived at Domotek Volley from Serie A2, introduced himself and his ambitions in a large gathering that also included the players from the women’s team competing in the Women’s Serie C championship.
After the fantastic emotions of the presentation held at the Arena dello Stretto have worn off, it’s a time to work hard and be ready for the new season.
The Calabrian athlete made no secret of his immediate positive impression of the new environment. “It’s definitely a wonderful atmosphere, very welcoming,” Presta began. “We can’t wait to get started on this journey right away.”
Questions immediately turned to the stage the team faces, the group, and the opponents they will face throughout the season. The new player’s approach is pragmatic and focused on daily work rather than forecasts. “Well, it’s definitely still early. What I think is that the pitch will decide, let’s say, our future. The important thing, in my opinion, is to focus on our team, start working immediately, be a united team, and fight every Sunday.”
