After their victory in the first friendly match of the season against Mirandola, Conad Volley Tricolore returns to the court on Saturday, September 20th for another preparation test. The Granata team will be playing at the Sirmione sports hall, facing Gruppo Consoli Sferc Brescia, a team that will compete in Serie A2 in the 2025/26 season.
This will be an important test for Coach Zagni’s team, who will have the opportunity to compete against a team from a higher division and continue their growth ahead of the start of the championship. It will also be an opportunity to evaluate the progress made in training over the past few weeks and test new playing styles.
Conad will approach the match with enthusiasm and a desire to build on the positive impressions they showed against Mirandola, but with the awareness that they will need to raise their game to face a solid and experienced team like Brescia.
Mattia Catellani commented: “The first friendly offered positive insights that we can continue to work on, especially regarding intensity and the determination to never give up the ball. There are still several areas to improve, particularly the break phase and blocking, but the goal is to improve overall in all fundamentals, building on this good foundation.”
