MINT Vero Volley Monza finished their second test match of the season with a 3-2 victory (15-17; 15-8; 14-16; 15-8; 16-14). At the Opiquad Arena, captain Beretta and his teammates hosted Campi Reali Cantù, a team that will compete in the upcoming Serie A2 championship. It was a good opportunity for the Brianza-based team to test out various options they’ve been working on daily in the gym. Still without international players Erik Röhrs, Jan Zimmermann, Luka Marttila, and Martin Atanasov, MINT initially lined up the Knipe-Padar diagonal, Frascio and Khotsevytch as spikers, Larizza and Mosca as centers, and Scanferla as libero. Over the course of the five sets, however, there was room for substitutions and adjustments to the lineup.
