Among the red and white preseason events, one of the most anticipated is the “classic” match on neutral ground against their historic rivals from Emilia, scheduled for a week’s time.
On Saturday, September 27 (5:00 PM), the “Albino Ciarapica” sports hall in San Severino will host the friendly match between Cucine Lube Civitanova, coached by Giampaolo Medei, and Valsa Group Modena, coached by Alberto Giuliani.
The event, organized by “San Severino Volley,” is being held again a year after the first edition. The sold-out September 2024 match and the 3-1 victory for the Cucine Lube team warmed the hearts of the Marche fans, transforming a friendly match into a delicious appetizer for the most beautiful championship in the world. This year, the re-enactment of the face-to-face match on the same pitch between the red and whites and the canaries is the icing on the cake for the fiftieth anniversary of the San Severino club, founded way back in 1975.
