The week leading up to Avimecc Modica’s Serie A3 championship debut began yesterday at the “PalaRizza.” Coach Enzo Distefano’s “Galletti” will play Saturday’s early match at the new Campobasso sports hall, hosting Peppe Bua’s Energy Time.
The Modica team is meticulously preparing for this match, well aware that the first championship game poses challenges, especially when played away from home.
“We’re really just a short while away from our debut in the tough Serie A3 championship, which,” commented coach Distefano, “as we’ve said many times, promises to be a very high level. All the teams have strengthened compared to previous seasons, and even the newly promoted teams have prepared themselves to perform well. We’re preparing for the trip to Molise, aware of the physical, technical, and mental work we’ve done in preparation. We know Campobasso has some good individual players and enjoys the advantage of playing at home, so they want to present themselves convincingly to their fans and try to overturn their poor season last season, when they only managed to avoid relegation in the playoffs.”
