We’re on the eve of the Junior League final eight in Bologna, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the country, reserved for U20 youth teams from Serie A1, A2, and A3 clubs and organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A.

Coach Not’s boys secured a spot in the final eight by winning the qualifying round against the Piedmontese team Negrini CTE Acqui Terme, then winning the A2/A3 semifinal against the Venetian team Personal Time San Donà di Piave. Their winning streak was then interrupted in the first final to advance directly to the final eight against Romeo Sorrento. Mo.Re Volley’s boys then immediately got back on the road by winning the play-off against Cucine Lube Civitanova (loser of the Superlega qualifying round).

The participating teams will be:

Vero Volley Monza, Valsa Group Modena, Itas Trentino, Consar Ravenna (automatically qualified based on the 2024/2025 Junior League rankings), Sir Susa Scai Perugia, Allianz Milano (teams qualified from the SuperLega Qualifying Round), Romeo Sorrento, and Mo.Re Volley Reggio Emilia (teams qualified from the A2/A3 Qualifying Rounds).

The eight teams are divided into two qualifying groups of four, each playing a round-robin format with one-way matches.

Our players have been placed in Group B, where they will face Consar Ravenna, Valsa Group Modena, and Sir Susa Scai Perugia.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the 1st-4th semifinal, the third-place teams will play the 5th-6th final, and the fourth-place teams will play the 7th-8th final.

Our boys’ debut will be at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow against Consar Ravenna, followed by their second match against Valsa Group Modena at 4:30 p.m. On Monday, June 1, they’ll play their final match of the group at 11:00 a.m. against Sir Susa Scai Perugia.

All Del Monte® Junior League Finale matches will be broadcast live on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A YouTube channel, while live scores will be available on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A website.
