There’s something special in the gaze of those who build the game. They don’t seek the spotlight, but the right direction. They don’t score points, but make them score. This is the destiny of setters: those who control the rhythm, the geometry, and the heart of a team. And within Belluno Volley, Luca Pozzebon also “plays” his part: with focus, humility, and personality.
GOOD ANSWERS – Just turned twenty, originally from Montebelluna, he’s fresh from a stint in A2 with Macerata. And, for the second season in a row, he shares the control room with Sebastiano Marsili, named best player in Credem Banca’s Serie A3 debut. A debut that the Rhinos colored with enthusiasm and concreteness, defeating ErmGroup Altotevere San Giustino 3-1 in front of 700 spectators at the VHV Arena. “The first match of the championship gave us some good responses,” says the setter, who trained at Volley Treviso. “We played the match with an open mind, trying to give our best on the court, and, except for a second set where we played a bit below par, we succeeded.” The key to success? Twofold: “Teamwork and the desire to help each other. Together, we found the right solutions.”
