The Block Devils completed a double training session ahead of their two home matches this week, tomorrow evening against Cuneo and Sunday afternoon against Verona.
This morning, after a check-up with the nutritionist, the players completed a preventive gym session, while in the afternoon they worked on the taraflex for technical and tactical training. Tomorrow, Cuneo, a newcomer to this Superleague championship after returning after 11 years, arrives in Perugia. This newly promoted team is already making it clear they want to make their mark this season, attempting to challenge the league’s top teams. They did so in their debut, taking two sets away in Padua, before winning 3-0 at home against Cisterna. Defeated 3-1 by Monza, they then dragged Piacenza to a tiebreak, denying the Emilians the full three points. In their match against Trento, they won the first set 25-21, forcing a comeback against the Dolomites.
