The Del Monte® Boy League 2026 Final Eight kicks off on Thursday, April 9th in Fano (province of Pesaro Urbino). Among the participants in the final phase of the event, reserved for Under-14 teams and organized since 1996 by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Maschile, will be Trentino Volley for the twelfth time in its history.
The team coached by Andrea Marino will participate with a roster composed mostly of players who played in the regional Under-15 championship (which finished the first phase undefeated) and the Trentino Cup for the category (won just over a week ago). With victories in 2010 (with Simone Giannelli leading the way) and 2019 (with Alessandro Bristot top scorer), second place in 2018, third place in 2012, 2014, and 2024, quarterfinal finishes in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2025, and seventh place in 2016, the club from Via del Brennero in the Marche region will be chasing another significant result in a particularly prestigious competition. The other teams competing in the 27th Enrico Bazan Cup are Cuneo, Ravenna, Milano, Monza, Perugia, Civitanova (the defending champion), and Sorrento, who, like the yellow-blues, qualified thanks to their preliminary round performances. All Final Eight matches will be streamed live on the Legavolley YouTube channel.
“The Boy League Final Eight has always been one of the most significant events of the season for the youth sector, and the time has finally come to play it,” says coach Andrea Marino. “We’re very motivated and, at the same time, curious to take part to see how we stack up against the opponents we’ll face.
